Its bountiful mountain ranges and five ski centres make Scotland an ideal skiing destination. The good news is that Scotland also has a range of winter sports to for those who don’t ski or snowboard.

Cross-Country Skiing

Clashindorrack Forest in Aberdeenshire is the place to head to enjoy a lung bursting session of Cross-Country Skiing this Winter. The Huntly Nordic and Outdoor Centre will sort you out if you are fit, brave and willing.

Dog Sledding

Believe it or not you can now also go dog sledging too at Cairngorm Sleddog Centre, with the dogs leading you around the remarkable Caledonian Forests that stretch away from the centre.

Curling
